Open a browser (IE, Opera, Safari 3.0) and surf to a bunch of sites but the easiest is 144.160.11.35/register and it will walk you through the registration. At the point it asks you to install software, decline and you'll be ready to go. Log back into the modem, click on disconnect if it is NOT the 2wire, and correct the user ID and pw to the ones you just created. If you have a 2Wire, I suggest you unplug the phone cable for 2 minutes WHILE you correct the ID and pw, hit connect, THEN plug in the phone cord again. Once you have a green INTERNET light, you're on and ready to go. But, you'll still have a green light even if you type the ID (but not the domain) or the pw incorrectly.
